Meet the Chef
In 1999, Paulette Martin left the public school classroom as a high school English and debate teacher in order to pursue a career in Culinary Arts. She moved from her hometown of Milton, FL to the big apple. She graduated from Institute of Culinary Education in New York with a certificate of completion in Pastry Arts. At the time, it was called Peter Kump’s Culinary School. It was the certifying class. Over the last 20 years, we have catered thousands of events for businesses, churches and non profits and brides, and we have helped many couples celebrate their special weddings with beautiful and delicious cakes and pastries.
Chef Martin has received many awards and accolades over the years, including Top Chef Italy Award, given to her by the legendary Jacques Pepin at WSRE’s Wine and Food Classic in Pensacola, FL in 2014.
In 2014, Chef Martin returned to the classroom to teach culinary arts at a local technical college, although continued to maintain the business. Her unique style of the dramatic and her love for teaching was ever evident.
In 2010, Chef Paulette began dealing with autoimmune issues, particularly Hashimotos, and began a lifestyle of a paleo diet, and in 2015, she started doing Crossfit. She is an avid weightlifter, and she is passionate about healthy eating.
In 2020, Chef Paulette decided to combine all of her loves—acting, cooking, teaching, and health and wellness—into a cooking show, Naughty2Nice. In the show, she takes a traditional “naughty” dish and makes it into a “nice” dish.
